Hi!

2nd day with the new iPhone.
I had to install the BSD Subsystem for the AppSupport patch, regional patch, and the kb fix.

My iPhone crashed today, just once, I think it is an isolated issue and hope it is just one time it happened, but, I would like to know if there is a way to uninstall the BSD Subsystem.

Nothing additional is installed, no summerboard.

Just BSD and the fixes listed before.

I think it won't crash again, but I would like t remove BSD.

if yuu uninstall bsd subsystem then u wont b able to install ANY applications at all...NONE
and also i highly doubt it was the BSD Subsystem

Okay I have been searching for a while so I am going to asume that no one else is haveing this problem.

I had to upgrade to 1.1.4 because i thought it would solve a problem i was having( which it did) but I am now having problems with the BSD sub system the newist ZiPhone preinstalled. I don't know if it is corupt or not. The source won't let me uninstall it or reinstall it.

I wan't to uninstall or reinstall because the password to login does not work. I really need the terminal commands for nurmous other things, but if any one knows what to do about this problem, would you be so kind as to solve mine?

It won't let me log in same problem as 1.1.3 but the fix for 1.1.3 doesint work for 1.1.4

Most applications don't require BSD.

Install Cydia. It will remove BSD Subsystem for you.
