I'm running vista and would like my numbers saved on the laptop, how would i do this?

You just need to sync your contacts from your phone to Outlook with iTunes.

When checking the contacts box, and starting to sync, iTunes is gonna ask you if you want to merge the contacts from the phone and from your Outlook Address Book.

Just merge and you've got it done.

If later you restore/erase/update your phone, you'll be able to sync it again with your stored contacts.
