aSMS - another SMS program for iPhone.

iPhone's SMS program is cool, but miss some features: forward, batch send.

aSMS provide forward, mailto,batch send(todo) features and can read the PhoneBook from SIM card. aSMS is a browser based program, so you can use it on a pc remotely. Important For CJK language users, they can use a javascript based IME to input their characters.

Do you know if there would be any possible way to get my contacts from SIM and then into my Contacts list on iPhone? That would be awesome!

i have read contacts from SIM, it's possible to sync to iPhone's Contacts list.

Will this app support receiving SMSs from alpha senders (bank notifications, voicemail notifications, etc.)?

Thanks so much for this amazing app, I have not try but based on the feedback it seems to be awesome...

can you please help me how to install it because I do not know
* what winscp is?
* how to scp it?

basically I do not know how to do the steps as you stated :

Install:
scp aSMS.tgz root@iphone_ip:. (winscp for windows user)
ssh root@iphone_ip (putty for windows user)
cd /
tar -zxvf /var/root/aSMS.tgz
launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.googlecode.aSMS.plist
add password protect for remote access(local access dont need passwd):
htdigest -c usr/local/isms/.htpasswd mydomain.com username

1. Download and Install Install.app http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/
2. Setup you WIFI to connect to the internet.
3. Run Installer.app from you iPhone, select BSD Subsystem, openssh and install it.
4. Download winscp http://winscp.net/eng/download.php,Run winscp, input you iPhone's ip address, you can copy file and directory to iPhone now.
5. Download putty http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s.../download.html,
Run putty, input your iPhone's ip address, you can run some command now.
