I've been trying to install the new AppTap after updating to 7.4. I jailbreak and activate, and then run the installer. It runs for 2-3 minutes and then the iphone reboots and just says 'Connect to Itunes' where Itunes then says that it needs to be restored.

I've tried waiting for about 10 minutes, but it never gets anywhere.. anyone else have this problem?

is there a way to just install the installer application from the new independence?

I've got the same problem.. I'm just restoring again.

I wonder if maybe I've got an old version, and just need to update it.. but it takes ages, hoping someone else has it figured out.

i have the same problem, i opened the dmg and found the installer.app and used ifunastic to put it on my iphone but after Installer launches its freezes without showing any apps and then crashes about 10 sec later

i had the same problem but heres the solution..

Fresh restore so this means its factory spec and everything

use some activator to bypass the At&t thing
then just install the install.app it jailbreaks it for you..
thats what messed up my iphone was that i jailbroke it with indepdence den when i ran apptap that installs install.app it freezes and says error..
after installer has been installed run the youtube hack
and there you go
