    Thanx
Can't really confirm. When my iphone is in 'sleep mode' i hear my ringtone (+vibrate) when a sms was received.
Only when i use my phone (games, emails, www) .. so its 'in use' i only get a vibration alert without the ringtone.

    Bug:
When i'm in a conversation and did send a sms and i go back to the conversation, the conversation is empty, just the sms i had send is there.
When i restart the application everything is fine again.

    Strange...

what are the permissions on your SMSDNotifier if you look at this file in Mobile Finder?

    Mine are (light blue clolour):

    OWNER: Read/Write/Exec
    Group: Read/Write/Exec
    Everyone: Read/Exec

Can you please check and tell me? Maybe this is causing it for me...

for group: "write" is not light blue like yours

but something doeas not work for me either..

when i use SMSD as default app, and i get a message , everything is fine
red little icon with the number if incoming messages, but when i read the sms, the red icon should disappear, what doesn't happen
the red icon is still there even if i have read the sms already..

    anyone experience the same ?

It sounds to me like you're on 1.1.3
If that's the case - DO NOT USE smsd on 1.1.3 - it's not compatible with it, and you may loose information.
    Wait for 1.1.3 compatible version.

Hi, no i run 1.1.2 but yesterday i tried to switch to SMSD as default , in the mornig i got an sms, and i entered it through the popup-message which which you can ignore or view, and it went fine. Perhaps yesterday it was a onetimebug .. ?

    Default 1.1.3

    Hello,

I am not planning to update my phone to 1.1.3 for a few more weeks. Because of this I have no info on how sms works on 1.1.3. Can someone send me sms.db from 1.1.3 so that I can take a look and make sure that SMSD works on 1.1.3 also?

You can send it at amrut.joshi@gmail.com

    Thanks,
    -Amrut!
