Default [App Request] iPass for the iPhone?

    Dear all,

(you need to know what iPass is, see here: http://www.ipass.com/index.html )

I am using iPass from my company corporate account for Wifi Access through hotspots that work with iPass via my laptop (client app you need to install).

Do you know if there is also an iPass client for the iPhone?

If not, are there any plans to create one?

I have also contacted iPass and will update once I have a reply from them.

    Thank you.

    hi fuzzy

there is a program in the installer called "devicescape".
you have to register on devicescape.com and can then use their service. not sure if it works on all hotspots. just check it out.

    hi teelix,

thanx for your reply, unfortunatelly it has to be ipass since they are affiliated / business partners with 1000's of Wifi spots and their service is not free, it is simply covered by the company I work for.

I'm sorry but you seemed to be in a minority here.

I guess noone is gonna make an app specially for these enterprising chaps (company selling services such as iPass) because there's always more that could have been made

    fuzzy,
I'd like to see an iPass client too, but I guess the best bet would be asking iPass.com to provide one. They should do a better job.

I too would love to see an iPass app for the iPhone.... or something like in the UK where O2 subscribers also have access to WiFi hot spots. Granted, I'm in the US and not on AT&T but would be nice anyway.
