Default [AFPd 1.1.3] not enough disk space

I upgraded to 1.1.3 from 1.1.1 using Nate's JB. When I use AFPd to copy files on my iPhone I get a message that says

"The item 'whatever' cannot be copied because there is not enough disk space."

This is clearly not true. Indeed, I tried to copy the new 1.1.3 Send apps from Erica Sadun and I got the same message, but since I had the option to 'replace' the existing apps, I actually managed to copy over the files (note that the newer apps are bigger than the old ones). Also, if I delete bigger files from the iPhone directory I want to copy to, I still get the message.

What should I do? Any suggestion? I basically can't copy any new file, I can only replace existing ones, and this is clearly not a disk space issue.

    Thanks

But if I can install new apps with Installer, it can't be a disk space problem.
