There used to be an app called Simport, just search for it. Have used it at 1.1.2, dont know if this one still works.

SIMport is still alive and well, and works fine with 1.1.4 BUT its only for importing contacts, no SMS access sadly

Thx for the info. I just remembered a friend using it for getting contacts from his simcard on the iPhone.

yea,I used it for contacts only.it can't import SMS.
