[AddressBook] Can't sync contacts
I can't synchronize my contacts through iTunes with the Windows Address Book.
When I delete the address database /var/root/Library/AddressBook/AddressBook.sqlitedb the problem remains (I get a new, empty address book but still no synchronization).
1.1.2 firmware, iTunes 7.5. I think this problem may have existed since after the first time I synchronized with Windows Address Book. It worked that time, and later one new iPhone contact was transferred to the WAB, but it hasn't worked in either direction since then.
EDIT: When I first posted this, I thought I also couldn't delete contacts from Address Book. Somehow I had forgotten about the big red Delete Contact button that appears at the bottom when you edit a contact.

Please, experienced iPhone people, what would you do to solve this? What would be the first things you'd try?
I did a Reset All Settings on the iPhone and Reset synchronization status in the iTunes preferences. Didn't help. Deleted the Windows address book so a new one was created (with a more recent creation date). Didn't help.

Well, I updated iTunes to 7.6 and it synced my contacts allright. My hypotheses are:
- I had a firewall setting on the old iTunes help services which was blocking synchronization, or
- Synchronization works once per version of iTunes; the next time I want to synchronize, I'll have to wait for version 7.7
I'll update the thread after the next try.
With this I have lost all pictures that were associated with contacts. The database AddressBookImages.sqlitedb is still 3 MB so they're probably in there, but I can't access them and they don't appear with the contact data.

Works consistently now.
Either iTunes 7.6 solves some bug in earlier versions, or you just have to make sure to allow traffic from all those iTunes-related services and processes on Windows when the firewall asks whether they should be able to access the "internet" (really the USB port) through 127.0.0.1, the "local host".
