    Default [2.0][Req] Taskbar Notifier

Taskbar Notifier was my favourite application in 1.1.x, but the webpage hasn't been updated in ages. Does anyone know if there will be a 2.0 version, or are there any other apps that do a similar task?

    Phil

    Default Taskbar notifiers for 2.1

    There are two now:

I installed Notifier. It looks nice, but it has built-in reminders that come literally every 15 seconds. That's a bit much, and I haven't seen a way to set the frequency. Has anyone found out how to do that?

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

i`m using Status Notifier it works great, and it`s just like the old taskbar notifier. It the daemon checks every 60 seconds which I find takes too long to update. You can change it by editing daemon.sh in
    /usr/local/StatusNotifier/

at the very bottom of the script you`ll see

    Code:
    # Delay (1 min)
    sleep 60

    done
just change the 60 to whatever seconds you want

It seems to have changed in their newest version; they now say "No more [weird] dependencies; No more daemons; Real-time icon update". So you don't need to set a time (and daemon.sh is gone) -- it basically works the same way as Notifier.

The developer of Notifier says (in response to an email): "I'm working on a GUI that will control those notifiers individually. So you will be enabled to disable each one and set it's time interval."
