[1.1.4] customize or summerboard ?

i like customize for its themes and sliders and i NEED summerboard coz it removes the 72 icon limit

NOTE U NEED SUMMERBOARD, even if u dont use it for anything
but it is needed

im confused.

if i dont care about 72 icons do i still need summerboard ?

are both apps 1.1.4 friendly / compatible ?

no u dont need both if u dont care about 72 icons, but u should if u think ur gonna exceed 72 icons on ur spring board. If u have 72+ icons and no summerbaord then ur gonna get the spinning wheel of death and will have to ssh in and uninstall apps or do a restore

i am running a 1.1.4 winpwned phone with customize 2.0.0RC1.3 and summerboard 3.2 (almost 100+ icons

) with no problems at all

got both, had to install SUID to stop customize crashing
all works fine now

one thing though, where has the multiple icon / dock icon option gone?

also iirc there was a hide icon feature in either summerboard or customize... am i going mad

the 5 doc is gone..... it is a part of freeboard in customize but it does not work for me. And yes there was a hide icon option in the old customize, i used it with 1.0.2 but i think its gone now
u can install POOF (available as an app and also part of bosstools)
it hides your icons

EDIT
freeboard is NOT a replacement for summerboard.......i think it was ment to be but it didnt work
