Why Has My Signature Been Removed?

Hackint0sh have been fairly easy going in allowing people to use their signatures to promote themselves but lately we have noticed some situations where people are putting their shop banners or extremely large colourful text links in their signatures in order to promote there own site or direct people to area they offer item/s for sale on Hackint0sh.

Developers are welcome to link to their site which describes their web app, native app, or computer based app but all other members may no longer use there signature as a way to spam the forum.

All signatures will be examined on their own merit but we will begin to remove what we consider to be spam within the next 24 hours from this post (4/3/09) at which point we'd hope/expect the signature spam to already have been removed.

If we see any signature spam from that point onwards we will remove it without discussion & leave a Moderators Message in its place instead. If anyone then puts back what we have removed they will be removed from this site.
