Default Reputable place to buy an iPhone in London?

Does anyone have an idea where you can get an iPhone from somewhere un-dodgy, and for a reasonable price in London?

I'm having a hell of a time working out who is dodgy (ala gumtree, meet me in baker st station with 350 quid) and who isn't.

Also, what's the going price for a 4/8 gig phone, preferably still locked and in the wrapper?

    g.

I got mine from a bloke in harlow, for 430 8g. He also has turbo sims in hand, but they are silly prices. 300!!!!!! Apart from the silly price of Turbo sims, he is a good bloke.

Hi, I'd ask a friend that off to the states to pick one up for you or take a short trip to NYC (very, very cheap these days from the UK) instead of spending lots of money for nothing.

your only real choices are ebay or an online buy/sell site like gumtree.

i dont see what is so dodgy about meeting someone at baker street to pick up a phone. at least it saves on shipping costs and you get to see what you're buying before you hand over your cash.

i bought mine from a truster seller on ebay. (just look for someone with a high number of positive feedback, ie > 50 and > 99%). was a little pricey but was delivered the next day special delivery without any issues.

the phone comes wrapped in cellophane so you can easily tell if it has been opened or not and get a receipt while you're at it.

once you have your iphone, conntact electric0ant via hackint0sh.org. He offers a activating and unlocking service for 50 including special delivery postage.

you could have a phone up and running on your favourite uk provider in a week.
