Hopefully the 'back in 2 weeks' is accurate - if so, I'll probably end up getting the hardware unlock quicker than the software one given the latest news.

I sent my iPhone off to electric0ant on Monday and got it back on Thursday.

Great prompt service. Phone worked find first time round. Swopped my AT&T sim for my Orange sim and its great to be finally using the iPhone as a phone.

Well recommended.

Posted it thursday, he received it 2pm the next day, unlocked it, and i got it back today (saturday) works like a dream on vodafone Outstanding service.

What service plans are you guys using for unlimited data transfer?

I sent mine in on Thursday, he received it, unlocked it and posted it back on Friday, I received it back today (Saturday). Very fast service, thank you very much - all works fine - very happy.

Anyone know if the new version of Itunes messes up the hardware hack?
Just had my unlocked phone for a couple of days now - don't even want to risk it...

easy...dont update itunes... until its been confirmed as ok to do so...

there are no benefits at the moment to update itunes anyways..

T-Mobile UK - Web & Walk ... £7.50 on top of tarrif for 1gb of data....
