[Germany] Hamburg: 8 GB iPhone 500 Euros
as i just got me a 16 GByte phone as i have loads of music, i can sell my 8 GByte phone.
Its a 1.02 OTB, now running 1.12 unlocked, jailbroken and activated.
It was unlocked by Anysim 1.2u, i made a backup of the seczone after jailbreaking, so whatever happens, it can be virginized !
If you wish i will viginize & update to 1.1.3 and optionally use ziphone to free it again... Just let me know !
It was bought in NY apple store, receipt & original AT&T card is in the package as well as the other original boxes & contents !
The phone always worked fine, no Wifi or BT or EDGE Problem, no dead Pixels, no nothing !
I will probably sell it on eBay within the next days if i do not hear from you guys :-)
Then i'll post the eBay link here...
P.S. asking 500 Euro including shipment or you can pick it up and try before you buy with your SIM !
Am I missing something here or are Iphone prices in Germany more than double everywere else in the world?
I paid 268 Euro's for my 8Gb Iphone (brand new) and software unlocked thanks to Ziphone.
Not sure why someone would pay you almost double the price for a second hand one that you can unlock for free? Especially someone browsing a site such as this?
If you sell it for that price, please let me know as I think I may know what my new business venture will be
Ray, welcome to the real world...
If you buy an iPhone in the US you pay 399$ + taxes, RIGHT.
( for me that was about 430 USD after taxes, then converted in Euros with the usual ferengi costs for credit card usage in a foreign country and whatnot it ended up with 310 Euro. )
If you look at German eBay, i will easily sell for 500 Euros+ as most people:
-are not able to use ziphone & the likes
-do not travel to the US regularly
-fear what airport customs do to them if they are busted when trying to smuggle it ( rightly so )
-fear what the customs do to them if they order it from the US ( rightly so )
-fear they get b*tt raped by the seller if they order from the US ( rightly so )
-fear that the iPhone breaks in the unlocking process ( rightly so, no idea if all the reported no wifi, no bt, no whatever is due to unlocking or due to poor quality control, nevertheless they end up with a defective unit without easy way to get it repaired under warranty ).
Thats why people have to add up xxx Euros if they want to go the safe way.
Thats what people do.
Again, welcome to reality, people actually pay for comfort and safety, not a brand new concept...

That's ridiculous pricing. So you have a 16gb one so you don't need your 8gb no more.. making it 2nd hand. Im in the UK so 500 euros is £378. Brand new from the 02 shop it's £270 to buy.
Don't mention that it being unlocked adds value to it because your on a forum which has loads of different ways of unlocking your iphone, it's just a matter of taking time to do some research.
If you can get €500 on ebay for it, do that.
Realistically i wouldn't pay anything more than €330.
So yeah, sell it on ebay.. you won't get anywhere near that price on here.
i do not need to guess about the ebay price, i followed 3 auctions of used 8gb phones, all ended up > 550 Euros.
And yes, it is unlikely that users of this bbs will buy it, i just thought i give it a shot, why not, its for free ?
What i don't get is you and the other guy posting here :-)
The reason we've posted is because of the high price you are asking for a 2nd hand unlocked iphone on a forum dedicated to unlocking the very item you are selling.
We're not knocking the fact that you can get 500 Euros from eBay for it - if someone were to offer me that right now I'd take them up on it and go out and grab myself a 16gb too - sweet :p
T-Mobile sell the phone new for 399 Euros. People visiting this site will know that and will know within 5 mins that clicking a button on Ziphone will unlock their phone. Yes it's a free post but you can't expect eyebrows not to be raised under the circumstances
tmobile sells them for 399 with 24 x 50 Euros contract attached, GET IT !!!!
( when they sold it unlocked, it was for 999 )
