Hi everybody,
Just hacked my apple TV with the ATV-usb creator, but i somehow cant get it to connect to either my macbook pro or time capsule. iTunes is working fine, but I would like to be able to browse and play movies on macbook's hard-drive. Does anyone know how to connect my apple TV to my Macbook's HD, and make it possible to watch movies from it's HD? Thanks in advance, Jorn |

you need to share your driver of the Macbook:
![]() On Options: You can share it by AFP(Apple File Protocol) and/or FTP(File Transference Protocol) and/or SMB(Server Message Block). ![]() On XBMC of AppleTV you should right this path: protocol_name://user:password@computer_name/share_folder_name

Thanx for the the advice. It helped me a lot. Although i used an SMB connection instead of the AFP, movies on my tv are now directly streaming from my Macbook HD
