Hi.
I have new ATV connected to Samsung plasma via HDMI cable. If TV is switched to this external signal everything is fine, but if I change to another signal (ex. TV Sat) and back to Apple TV or even only switch tv off/on the screen is looking like loose synchronization or something. Screen is blinking for 1 sec normal signal ATV / 1 black screen with no end. All I can do is to plug off ATV. I've tried to update software, switching HDMI settings, everything with no effect. My TV never has this problem before (working with TV SAT,DVD, Blue-Ray). Any help ? |

OK, My problem was solved on another forum. Here is advise if someone has the same problem with Samsung TV:
"...Apple TV and Samsung do not play nicely together. Samsung is at fault here according to a TV tech I spoke with. There is a way around it. Plug your Apple TV into the HDMI input that is directly adjacent to the TV's PC input - on my set this is HDMI 2. In your TV's menu, you can change the name of the input - you need to change the name of the HDMI input to 'PC' and having done this, the TV should play nice with the Apple TV.
