I'm sorry to have to post this, but I must be stupid because I can't seem to work out how to do a proper search on the forums to find out if and how nitoTV can enable ripped DVD playback of the VOB format. I could not find anything either on the full feature set of nitoTV.

I have allot of DVDs ripped in VIDEO_TS VOB format and was wondering whether these can be played and if so whether the various audio channels can be selected, chapter navigation, FF and RW, subtitles and can you attach metadata somehow to display cover art, movie and director details etc?

You've to install the dvd playbay framework. NitoTV can do this for you - just use the smart installer in the config menu.

Or seach the wiki on wiki.awkwardtv.org on how to install the framework manually.
