Apple TV 2.1 upgrade to 2.3 atvusb-creator

Morning or Evening to everyone

I have had my apple TV for about 2 months now and have used the atvusb-creator to patch my ATV 2.1 which runs now with an external 1 terabite drive next to it.

Seeing that now 2.3 is out, is there any way i can upgrade to 2.3 then patch it again?

atvusb-creator creates another 2.1 image.
