Hi,
I've been using a patched AppleTV, watching media off 1Tb Samba share stored on my Linux box, using NitoTV v0.7.5. The problem I've been having since day one, is that AppleTV would get less and less responsive as I go and if I watch a couple of media files, I have to either reboot ATV or restart Finder, because going through ATV menu becomes almost impossible (dog slow). I've tried mounting the share via NFS, thinking that maybe there is a slow memory leak in Samba, but to no avail. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. Thanks! |
