nitoTV 0.65: RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

I know that this doesn't make any sense. But it is as it is. I can show you the screenshots if you want. And the thing with the main menu is the same. It simply doesn't work ...
For now I'm happy with 0.65 ;-) |

smart installer in nito 0.6.5 work like a charm. |

I upgraded nitoTV to version 7 and all is fine. When I go to my 3rd party updates, it keeps telling me there is an update for NitoTV, but I have already installed it. It looks like the info is not being updated somewhere.
Do you have any suggestions? TIA |

yeh softwaremenu doesnt check the proper link for when there is a new version and tomcool has disappeared from the face of the earth, inside nitoTV itself it shouldnt say there is an update avail.

Hi there!
maybe there actually is something wrong with the latest release, since I am not the only one with issues. tried it a couple of times: update from within, smart install to make sure (recovery & combo present), reboot atv. my atv is always rebooting finder when trying to play any h.264 Rolled back to .65 and everythings fine. cheers winmann |

90% of my collection is h264 and it all plays fine in the latest. The plugin itself doesnt treat h264 different than anything else, just runs it in quicktime or mplayer based on your settings, and the quicktime code wasnt touched at all between 0.6.5 and 0.7

If the quicktime code wasn't touched, why don't work the keymaps as expected?
Yesterday I installed 0.7 on my brother's appletv 2.1 and it was the same as with mine. No menu separators, no eject icon, no quicktime keymaps. Is there a debug version of nitotv availalbe? Maybe this would help to solve the problems. |

So I started from scratch. Did a recovery to 1.1, update to 2.3, installed nitoTV via ftp and terminal etc.
usb - ok afp - ok dvd - viewing ok - after exit: finder reboot h.264 from usb - instant finder reboot (handbraked and purchased iTunes material alike) rolling back to 0.65 everythings ok 0.70 works for some people, obviously, so I really donīt know whatīs happening. 0.65 is a pretty good version for me, Iīll wait and see. cheers winmann |
