Hey Nito, can you tell me what exactly you're loading to get AFP server running on the ATV? The Wiki says to load "System/Library/CoreServices/AppleFileServer.app" and "/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ByteRangeLocking.framework" , but something must still be missing as I always end up with
dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap when trying to execute AppleFileServer. Thanks! Doc |

It and the framework came from a fresh 10.4.7 install on a 1.6 Core Duo Mac Mini. Is there somewhere else I should be getting it from?
Thanks! Doc |

the stuff installed for afp follows this script
http://www.benmackin.com/stuff/afpinstall.sh it doesnt actually use the script, but this script is the basis for me getting afp client working on the appletv, im not sure which files are needed for server and which are for client. the smart installer grabs most of the afp requisites from a 1.0 appletv restore dmg, which should be basically the same as a fresh 10.4.7. If it doesn't matter much whether the GPU is used, does this mean that XBMC can handle main profile video? It didn't seem to the last time I tried but perhaps they don't use the same video drivers as nitoTV? ls |

I have one more haunting question Nito that nobody seems able to answer. It's in this thread: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f98/79086.htm
The problem happens in both ATVFiles as well as Nito, so I know it's something on the ATV, not a plugin issue, just curious if you've ever run across this. Thanks again! Doc |

Hi,
I have been using NitoTV for a while now without any issues. However, since I have recently updated from 0.7.6 to 0.8.0, the DVD import option has disappeared. When clicking on the mounted Volume in "Files", the only menu item displayed is "play", whereas before I could also "import" at this place. Strangely, the "DVD-Alters"-menu still displays the "import"-option, however, upon clicking the item, I am taken to choose which title to play instead of the machine starting to import. Maybe it has something to do with the translation? I was surprised to see nitoTV speak German to me since updating. Thanks, Robbe |
