Hello everyone,

Firstly let me just say that I'm new to iPhone development and I hope I am posting in the correct forum

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on using the iPhone accelerometer. Ideally I would like to take acceleration/deceleration (or if its not accelerating record 0) at a periodic interval using a timer.

For example have a timer run this function:

-(void) tic;
{

xAccelArray[i] = acceleration.x;
i++;

}

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
