[iPhone SDK] Can it be installed on G4 ?
Hello everybody,
(the title isn't really correct...but I can't change it now...) I have question...I have to start working on the iphone...the problem is..I only have my beloved powerbook G4... I managed to install the sdk and got xcode to create an iphone project, but...when I try to compile it says that the active achitecture is i386...and I'm trying with my ppc... is there any method to overcome this problem? and if I get to compile it...will it work on an iphone? thanks for your help Last edited by supsi; 05-07-2008 at 12:40 AM.

Apple said full functionality is not available in PPC for iPhone SDK
I think you can use the cross compiler to build app in PPC but not for Xcode build and the iPhone simulator may not work in PPC read this http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=33867
