Default iPhone SDK runs slow on a PC?

Hi

Im interested in install Mac OSX on my laptop.

I would like to try iphone SDK. I think it's the previous
step before buy my own Mac.

I have seen OSX on a VMWare virtual machine and it was soo slow.
I have seen OSX on a acer 5920 laptop in youtube, and im not sure
it runs so quick.

Im worried about iPhone SDK could be very slow on my laptop.
Any experience with this SDK?

Any recommendation?

The follows is my laptop configuration. Is it very slow to run SDK?

Acer 5920. Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 (1.83GHz, 667/MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache)
Up to 358 Mobile Intel Graphic Media Accelerator (Vista says its a Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family)

4 GB DDR2 (I think that one GB is integrated in motherboard, an the rest use slots)

Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Broadcom NetLink(TM) Gigabit Ethernet

HDD is Hitachi 250 Gb

BIOS v1.3810
VGA BIOS SantaRosa 1478

Thanks in advance.
