Hello, I need some help; I'm brand new to linux and I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.2 on VMware Fusion 2.0.4 on a MAc that's running Leopard.
I need to install VMware Tools to Ubuntu because I want to be abel to enable Visual Effects, I looked all over the place for tutorials and there all out-dated because the VMware Tools are different. So please help me out, What's the easiest way to enable Visual Effects in Ubuntu 8.04.2? Also an easy way to install VMware Tools to Ubuntu. Thanks in advance! |

Well, I'm on the same specs. either but I'm running Windows also.
The installation of VmwareTools was easy on Windows but I couldn't install VmwareTools on Ubuntu either. And since i had no time at that time I leaved it to another time in the future. Since the installation progress is different on Ubuntu I suggest you do a Google search. In fact I made you one right here. They should do some help. Good luck. |
