Though I may no understand the full motive for TOS, I do believe this is wrong.
In a recent case against Pystar, for selling Mac OS X on non-apple approved hardware, Pystar made this quote.
Quote:

"Lets say you bought a Honda, and their EULA says you can only drive on the roads they approve. Does this sound fair?"

To be honest, I have to agree. Why, out of all the things that give us our rights as citizens of our countries, does TOS make all the rules? To be completely honest, TOS is another form of Fascism.
I can't completely blame Apple, but still, if I bought the OS, I can do whatever the hell I want with it. No company is going to take me to court for installing their OS on hardware that they don't approve. Especially if I bought the machine. If I wanted to rent their OS, I would rent it. If I bought it, its mine to do whatever I feel is necessary.
I do believe that yes, there should be copyright laws, but still, is it really reasonable to make a religion out of the hardware we use?
