I have been using pcs since the early 1990's. Recently I have become frustrated with windows and internet explorer. I have constant lockups,freezes, shutdowns etc on decent machines. Its driving me crazy. At work I have to re start my pc 2 or 3 times per day. I'm sure everyone already knows of these issues, i just had to let off of steam.

To bring balance, don't forget that some new and old macs had overheat and other issues too. I noticed that myself on my first intel iMac which froze about 3 times a day (in both OS X and XP.) Also XP and osx86 on my later PC begun to crash once and the fix was simple, remove a faulty dimm (identified by memtest86.) The power of hardware issues shouldn't be underestimated, afterall the software runs at its mercy.
