Hello Forum,
This is a bit of a unusual question, but I'm sure someone here can help me out. A friend of mine, who's a musician, would like to have his album for download on the itunes store (for free). Is there a way, without going to one of those "publisher" companies to get the music into the itunes store? Any help or advice greatly appreciated, tom |

There are few ways to get on iTunes without being backed by a indie/major label. What we did was go with CD Baby and they've been phenomenal. They help you with digital AND physical sales as well. You need a UPC in order to sell your music on iTunes. Setup is one-time $35, then $20 for a UPC or get one through the company that reps/dups your discs, but it's still $20-50. You cannot go wrong with CD Baby. Seriously check them out.
