iphone 3G running 05.11.07 3.1.2 Blacksn0w - cannot make or receive calls

Hi

Used blackra1n followed by blacksn0w to unlock my iphone 3G that is legit on o2 to sell on. tested it with an Orange sim card and it worked fine. Switched it off and posted off to a guy i sold it to, he has put his orange sim in and it shows up as orange but has no bars and he cannot make or receive call's. Any ideas on what the problem is?? is it because i switched the phone off?? does it need to be restarted using blackra1n??

Put a different sim in and it worked so then he put the orange one back in and all worked as it should, problem solved. No couple of hours later and it's the same as before. Any ideas??

switch off 3g and try @@
