since my wifi gave up by updating to 3.0 I was using an offline-unlock of ta_mobile. have a look here:

now many people need the same procedure for 3.1.2 and blackra1n / blacksn0w.

If someone is in here who could do this, I would be very happy then. Maybe ta_mobile is alive to do so!

too bad i have problem with youtube, other than that call/txt/map/stock......... no problem.

WAIT! for it to be tested by the public guinea pigs before getting alot of people to jump off the cliff

iPhone 3GS 32 GB 3.1.2/FW 5.11.07... Works PERFECTLY under two scenarios for me.....

Mine was already JB with Geohot's Blackra1n icon (RC2) on my iPhone. Clicked it - upgraded - then let it sn0w... Worked with the following SIMS:

AT&T (contract)
T-Mobile (pay as you go)
Digicel Haiti

Next - did a full RESTORE on my 3GS and after the firmware install, disconnected during reboot - stuck in the Haiti SIM - and then ran blackra1n.... On the reboot - my iPhone was hactivated and blackra1n on the iPhone. Connected wireless and ran blackra1n and installed sn0w... My iPhone runs:

AT&T (contract)
T-Mobile (pay as you go)
Digicel Haiti

Im your guinea pig today.

I tested blackra1n on a virgin FW 3.1.2 iPhone 3G, using a PowerPC mac.

Everything worked so far, the phone has no SIM, it hacktivated and installed blackra1n on the iPhone using the USB cable

I then disconnected the USB cable and connected the iPhone to my wifi network.

I then ran blackra1n and installed Cydia

I then ran blackra1n and installed blacksn0w

I dont have a Tmobile USA account anymore, so cant confirm the unlock, but I can say that my ATTUsa sim works in the phone, so fwiw, it seems blacksn0w has no problem and it also appears the hacktivation is not a problem either..

I give 2 thumbs up to blackra1n, its the easiest, fastest jailbreak I have ever used.

I give 2 thumbs up for blacksn0w, but leave it to others to test TmobileUsa to confirm.. be sure to turn off 3G when you test it.
