Blackra1n has failed me. HELP!!!

Just did the blackra1n my iphone is the 3gs just got it now and haven't jail broken it before. its new from the box and after blackra1n rebooted it it got stuck in recovery mode and is asking me to recover it. An image is showing with the usb pointing to an itunes logo on the phone. please someone help me and tell me what to do.

your 3gs is has new iboot. i guess.
everytime you restart your phone just run again blackra1n to get into the phone.

Check your model if it's MC then only tethered jailbreak (which is your case). A Evitydax posted , tethered JB means that every time you reboot/turn off your iPhone you must connect to PC and run blackrain to boot it up.

I'm having the same problem. I had to restore because even after installing Cydia it becomes unstable and boot's in safe mode. Is there a cure for this or are we stuck.

Hi, Lt Brown, I seem to have the same problem, I get the 'entering recovery' and then it justs sits there and I have to recover using iTunes, no picture nothing... very frustating

how do you mean check the model for MC? also the tether fix does that mean I have to get my operator to tether it? sorry for being a complete n00b...

you are confusing two different things that are both called tethering. They are not related. Just run blackra1n each time the iPhone boots
