So I finally got Snow Leopard running on the Asus EEE PC 1000HE, I even got the wireless working.
I am even amazed at how smooth it runs on this little pc. But I have come to stupid issue that I am not able to find, where does the bloody @ symbol reside? I have tried to push 2 + shift, control, alt, windows key, but nothing shows up the @ symbol. Anyone any idea? |

Hi
You've got wireless working? Seems to be another wifi card than in my 1005HA ![]() Back to topic: Did you try Alt+L? This is working for me. If not, try an external usb keyboard. There are also keyboard schemes which can be installed and then you have a layout like in windows (Alt-Gr+Q). But I have other problems. On the keyboard in my eee I cannot use win-key (which is the apple key?!) +c or +v to copy&paste. It worked under Leopard on my Asus A8Js, but not on my eee with SL. I got strange symbols like the mathematical root. Using an usb keyboard works fine... |

Yeah, I got the NE766 Wifi, any idea what wifi card is inside yours?
I fixed my keyboard problem by activating the keyboard viewer, I now know at least where my keys are. |
