I am trying to upgrage my 2G phone to 3.1.2 using a custom firmware.
But the shift/restore does not allow me to select ipsw file. I have tried 1. running itunes administrator 2. "%ProgramFiles%\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1 3. 1 and 2 4. repair itunes Any other solutions ? |

This user is on a windows machine, so it is shift-restore
You need to hold down shift and click on the restore button, you will be given an option to browse for the IPSW |
