iPhone 2G won't charge past the red battery...
I replaced my iphone battery (bought from ifixit.com) right before doing this upgrade to 3.1 - everything went fine... no issues at all.
My battery ran down and now when I try to charge the phone the battery never goes past the red - as if the battery is not accepting a charge... Any ideas on what might be causing this? I found the following thread over at modmyi.com: iPhone 2g won't charge - voltage readings inside But it seems as if no one had any absolute answers... does OS 3.X have a battery safe guard in it? Thanks for any help.
