how do unlock and jailbreak my locked 2G 3.1???

hey guys....i recently updated my iphone with version 3.1 through itunes....i can make only make emergency calls now...can anybody help me unlock it...

Use DFU mode & downgrade back to 3.0.1 then jailbreak with redsn0w v0.8

Then if you want to run 3.1 fw shift/restore with a pwnagetool custom 3.1 firmware.

redsn0w doesn't support 3.1 yet so you basically need to follow my post above

Restored back to 3.0. Now restart the process of re-adding contacts and apps back to my iPhone..
