Default Lots of people are having these sim problems

I have two 2g iphones that both show "no sim" errors.

I actually think that the iPhone is now validating specific sim types. What do you guys think?

Otherwise something is hosed on redsnow.

For the record, I've always found the devteam/world DFU entering process a mess.

THIS is what I do to go DFU (and always beat other methods by +/-20secs)

With your iPhone ON do this:

1) Press and hold Home+Power until the device boots
2) Right after the boot, count to 5 (5 seconds, no Mississippily please)
3) Let go the Power button.
4) Wait about 5 secs and you're gonna be in DFU

Cheers
