following the dev teams trial fix for push on my 2g, it DOES start to get notifications but very very spotty. testing with NotifyMe and IM+ i'd say i get only 2 out of 15 messages pushed to me (trying w/ edge and wifi ) so i'd say it still needs work. thats my feedback

same for me. Notify disables hisself after some time (the only up to see whats happen) I guess it have something to do with the "feedback service" in conjunction with the provider.

Dev-Team: Are you reading this thread? Over which port comes the APNS? It works fine till I have a longer sleeping phase and the iPhone wents over from Wifi to Edge.

Same thing here I just receive like 5 out of 10 notifications.... I dont knoe if my edge sucks or apple do....

I don't know why, but for some reason it's working perfectly fine the last two days. Every time someone says something in IM+, I get the push message. Haven't missed a single one

Received all notifications every time and even got other peoples one too
But I've noticed battery life decreasing and i'm getting texts late. Not sure if its related though

I too receive other messages, I only use beejive.
Sometimes I don't get notifications it's intermitente
And I can see the battery go away in real time it's 5 to 10 times faster

Before I disabled push I tested it by spamming an AIM message to myself asking that people who receive the push IM me. 3 seperate people received my push notifications and responded. More probably got the messages and ignored them. I don't have much hope in this ever working properly and I'm not going to leave it on and get some while random strangers get the rest of my personal messages.

I did the same test as well to see what happened and i got all the messages myself
Ive uninstalled the fix for now until the bugs are ironed out

I'm sending myself numbres from 1 to 40 to test IM+. notifyme didnt work, i didn't recieve even 1 msg

anyone else is recieving numbers? im tring this thing out...

I got about 15 of 90 messages I sent to myself, and all of them where in a row.

Update 1:
It seams that if I go into the app turn of and turn on push, it works again for a while

Update 2:
Now its not working again.

Update 3:
It seams I was having problems with my edge connection and now that I change that and went into IM+ again it works!
I hope it works for a while!

I think i will leave this option off for now. it's not working as I want and it is draining my battery faster.
