HI guys,

OK i have a 3gs, and valid ATT chip but am outside USA and hence ATT towers, so i did connect to itunes (8.2.1 only one i have), then entered my info for my account, and it seemed to activate the phone, i got the slider and world image, but said waiting to activate for like 48 hrs. Next i did a restore to 3.0.1, then ran redsnow with the ATT chip in it and it still keeps saying waiting for activation, if i read elsewhere right, should i do this again, and change chip to local market, before redsnow to hactivate? then go on to unlock with ultrasnow? if so will i not get the put a valid sim in message? I was thinking that using the ATT chip would preserve push and Utube, but since i cannot get ATT signal guess that is a dead end.
