Hi,

Have had both 2G and now 3G iphones and have jailbroken and unlocked both. Thought it was about time I went for 3.0.1 and having read up on the process went for it this afternoon - got as far as the upgrade to 3.0.1 via iTunes (prior to using redsn0w) and went it got to the end I had the 1602 error stating that it had not been successful. I now have an iPhone that I can get neither iTunes nor redsn0w nor Quickpwn to see - nothing, it just sits there with the iTunes and the usb logos.

Help?

Have tried using redsn0w a few more times to see if I can wake it from it's sleep. I guess I don;t know for sure if the 3.0.1 update via iTunes was successful (I assume not) - in which case pointing redsn0w towards the downloaded 3.0.0 version is redundant....it doesn't help anyway having tried it.

Would appreciate anyones thoughts about how I salvage & resolve the problem.....

Make sure your iTunes is having the latest version. You can download the latest version on Apple's site.
