hey guys, i have been here for a while and have had several iphones and have unlocked/jailbroken them many times. This problem i have never seen, I jailbroke this iphone many times and cydia is not opening, i click on the cydia icon and it just crashes before even opening. I used redsn0w 0.7 then decided to use 0.8. No luck...Any ideas?

After Jailbreak you probably connected the iPhone to iTunes, the software then offers to "restore data from a backup" or "setup as a new iPhone". Did you setup as a new iPhone? If not, do it. This will solve the Cydia problem and others...

thanks volk, you replied right on time, i was going to restore via itunes on 3.0 but you came to the rescue lol. Yes i did not set it up yet and will do that now. Will let you know how it went. thanks
