can't update iphone firmware on itunes
Hey folks!
Here is my problem:
I had iPhone 3G version 2.2.1, which I jailbreaked (so baseband version 2.30.02).
Yesterday I tried to upgrade it to new 3.0.1 firmware with iTunes 8.2.1 and Steve Jobs popped in with his russian 'preved/surprise' stance.
I managed to shift-restore again to version 2.2.1 (baseband still 2.30.02), but couldn't shift-restore version 3.0.1 or 3.0 (error 2 most of the times)
After so many tries both in restore and DFU mode and reading, I figured that my bootloader was 5.09. So, I installed the fuzzyband upgrade utility and updated the baseband to 4.26.08 hoping that this would fix the restore problem. Now I can't restore my 2.2.1, and the 2.2.1 with custom restore doesn't give me any cell-phone signal.
Now the QuickPWN 2.2.1 also started crashing as I plug in the iPhone.. for some reason, before start of QuickPWN, it asked me to hold power and home button for 15 seconds and I did.. and thats when the problem started happening.
I am stuck badly. My iPhone is on compromise.. SOS!!
Thanks everyone for reading!
