Is it possible to reverse the redsn0w and Ultrasn0w jailbreak and unlock process and get everything back to original configuration - Apple and AT&T supported phone? If so, how is it done?

This would be my first time jailbreaking and unlocking and I only want to do it if I can revert everything back to the way it was in case something goes wrong. I am concerned after reading some of the problems others have had.


My iphone 3G is only 3 months old it is running the following versions.

version 3.0 (7A341)
Model MB046LL
Firmware 04.26.08

I would like to take my phone on a trip to Europe next month and would like to use a local pay as you go sim card while I am there. I will be in Holland, Germany and Croatia. Does anyone have any advice for doing this?

Just restore in iTunes to get back to factory state.

To use elsewhere just redsn0w then UltraSn0w and enjoy. Data prices on PAYG can be expensive - make sure you know what you are getting.
eg in the UK on Voda and O2 you pay for whay you use but on Orange and T-Mobile they cap it at a max of £1/day - the difference being that you have to request that feature each day from orange and you get charged £1 for that day, but with T-Mobile it is charged on usage but if you reach £1 for that day then you don't get charged any more regardless of usage, you don't need to request anything.
