Default Cydia crashing on startup after adding a source

Hi.

I cannot delete source using winscp because i don't have openssh installed. Cydia is crashing on startup so it's not possible to install openssh.
Only option i can think of is a full factory settings reset, but i don't know how to do that, considering that i need to jailbreak and unlock afterwards.
I'm afraid that after reset i won't be able to jailbreak and unlock.

Any tutorials, anywhere..?

restore your phone and run redsnow again. This time do not select ICY.
If you select Cydia and ICY, Cydia will crash.

When you are done, you can run Cydia and update the important stuff, the download ultrasn0w to unlock

I have the same problem, after downloading source. However I can use SSH... Crashed after downloading iClarified's or Macciti's source... Any help would be appreciated. Really don't want to have to restore.

These are what the cydia log says:
cache_.Open():[dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. ]
2009-07-15 02:58:58.944 Cydia_[495:5603] bool _WebTryThreadLock(bool), 0x3e9890: Tried to obtain the web lock from a thread other than the main thread or the web thread. This may be a result of calling to UIKit from a secondary thread. Crashing now...

But I stupidly deleted a whole heap of files... Don't have mobileTerminal

Don't like my chances somehow.

Default redsn0w 0.8

The latest version of redsn0w solved this issue. Try to jailbreak your iPhone using redsn0w 0.8.

Cheers~~

Use Diskaid they have it for PC/MAC no ssh required, because it uses the usb cord but anyways.
Go too the root folder, then go to Private/var/lib/apt/lists... there will be all the last packages you installed, DO NOT DELETE PARTIAL..
once you have removed the last package turn the phone off then back on and see if it keeps crashing..
