Question about redsn0w 0.8
I tried to find this answer everywhere but I would like
to know if I already have a an AT&T contract and sim when I just jailbreak (no unlock) (redsn0w 0.8) will I still have AT&T service? My iPhone is: iPhone 3g firmware 3.01 AT&T *if u have a % rate of success please supply* thanks in advance I'm srry posted in wrong section if some1 could move it or ? Jail braking in your case wont effect AT & T service. Majority of people had succeed in jail breaking / unlocking.
Ensure that you have 3.0 FW for your Iphone as readsn0w wont detect 3.0.1. (you need to point readsn0w to 3.0 it will jailbreak) G00d luck

you should not have a problem. I have 2 on AT&T jailbroken and a back up that is jailbroken.
Just run the process and pop in your sim and your are good to go.
