my friend had a Iphone 2g, 8gb unlocked and had installer.app on it. I locked it by upgrading to 3.0 and used Redsnow to unlock it with a tmobile sim inserted. The phone unlocked and the t mobile sim didnt work. it was working before but not now, i need info on this immediatly because he is leaving today.

Tool used: redsnow.exe

Sim inserted: t mobile

Times unlocked and jailbroken: 2nd time

Iphone info. : Iphone 2g, 8gb Silver,

firmware: 3.0

firmware before upgrade: 1.1.1

Everything works except the phone

it shows little dots and wifi symbol, nothing that says t mobile

Other sims tried: Boost mobile.

Help. and post quickly.

Check if BootNeuter was installed. This is what actually unlocks 2G's

Try insert another sim card (other than t-mobile) to check if it is successfully unlocked...
