Hi

I just got a 3gs 16GB yesterday with firmware 3.0 pre installed. I tried to get the iBEC and iBSS as recommeded by the dev team using file grabber. I Seem to have got the files. Then i tried to use redsnow to jailbreak. Phone was in DFU, i used the 3.0 firmware recommedned from the iclarified site (not stock apple firmware). Redsnow seemed to get going but got stuck 3/4 way through at the 'installing applications?' bit. But the program on my comp stated that it had finished. then it restarted and i got the silver apple logo. It got stuck on that so i rebooted it but it kept on getting stuck. I then tried to restore. But now everytime i try to restore i get error 6 stating that iphone cannot restore? The apple logo with the progress bar comes up while restoring but then crashes halfway through with the above error msg. thats whether i use the stock or modded firmware? Also my iphone doesnt start up at all now. It isnt recognised by itunes, however when u put it into DFU mode it is recognised (but nothing comes up on the iphone screen). Ive phone up apple and we tried using dif USB, reinstalling itunes but nothing works. ive got an appt with the genius on fri but was wondering whther anyone here could help please. thanks a lot
