Default [OS3.0] iPhone 2G - "missed" calls!

Hello ppl.. for the past few days, my phone is not ringing. The calls are coming to the phone, but the phone is really sleeping. When i unlock the phone i get ALL the missed calls at once (10 maybe 15) even somebody calls me many times. I have already activated the "never miss a call" from Vodafone and if my phone is switched off i receive a message with all the missed calls, but in this case i get the missed calls on my mobile phone as real missed calls.

anyone know about this issue??

thank u

Default similar problem

I seem to be encountering a similar problem. I have just upgraded my phone a few days ago, and I have had several people tell me that they have been trying to call me but they keep getting the message "out of coverage area" however SMS works fine and I have been able to send and receive text messages. I dont know if its a hundred percent though. I am trying the reset network settings to see if it works. nope, doesnt seem to work

Now I noticed, some texts get through but like 30 mins later.

UPDATE:
3 reasons that i discovered that causes that problem :
1- set fetch mail to OFF
2- if you have the option of NOTIFCATION under settings set it to OFF
3- start deleting application that you have just installed

restart and everything should work

Kelkout is right. Turning off Push Notifications fixes the problem. I had the exact same issue when I first upgraded to 3.0. Disabling Push Notifications fixed all the problems. To get the Push Notification option in Settings, you will need to install any Push enabled application. I had installed AIM.
