Need help Unlocking & JB iPhone 2G that is unactivated
I bought a used iPhone 2G for my friend. Currently the iPhone is unactivated and is telling me to connect to iTunes. How do I figure out what iPhone f/w I have? Also how do I unlock and JB a unactivated iPhone?

Do not worry about the firmware. If the iPhone is 2 G then just download redsn0w 7.2. Follow instructions in the guide, or iClarified.com. I am assuming you want to hack it for t-mobile.
