Hi guys,
I've been jailbreaking and unlocking my iPhone 2G since it came out in the UK and have had no problems up till now. I was running 2.2.1 last week on a T-Mobile (UK) SIM and suddenly my reception changed to 'No service'. I have since redsnowed on both (numerous times) Mac and PC successfully but I'm still getting the 'No service' error. When I go to: Settings>General>About>Network it says 'Phone not allowed'. I've also tried an 02 simplicity SIM and an Optus (Autralia) SIM with the same results. In that time I have redsnowedd 2 of my mates 2G iPhones and ultrasn0wed a 3G iPhone successfully with no problem at all. I also thought that somehow there was an IMEI block on my phone from the network provider. I called 02 and confirmed that my phone has no lock. I've done a lot of surfing and there doesn't seem to be much on this issue. Closest thing I can find is that the comm board is damaged??? Any suggestions ? Thanks.
